apr, 9th - stills from the weekend....

day 426:

sunshine, glorious sunshine.....this weekend's theme was: Parktime. we had grass beneath our toes, bubbles floating through the air, picnic blankets, picnic food and a bit of a kick about. here are some pics.....

breakfast: eggs royale with smoked salmon...at our neighbourhood cafe......

even though Limi inspired us to get up early with her yelling 'mama' at 6:45am.....we still missed the outdoor tables......i wonder if we can go down the night before and reserve our spot.....

by this evening we were all a little sunkissed (just a little)...and a good-tired....ready to tumble into bed and dream of sunlit bubbles, dogs chasing balloons and an endless stream of people on bicycles, peddling past.

feb, 24th - braces.....

day 383:

braces.......are they the equivalent of ledehosen and knickerbockers? 

hmmmmm.....wondering.

but i love them.....always have. always will.

on guys....definitely.

but especially on girls.

oh, and we kept the grass from Limi's birthday [see day 364]. it's amazingly real. we bought it from here. for the moment it's our living-room rug and Limi's play-patch.....it's delicious to feel grass between my toes in the evening and we're definitely planning some rainy day picnics.
